I don't like the separation from the main family the most I guess, but the time my YA is back from college, I am already bored of the main family... :?

I agree with both of you. I don't like how long University is, seems like they are in there forever. And I don't like how you can't visit your family. It would be cool if there was an option to "visit home".

Yeah I wonder why they didn't add that in?

I also think that there is barely time to get involved in anything because of the homework..

Well, I don't like how if you get a certain way down, you can make college one big bird course. I just have them write the mid term, and then do research, and they all have an A+ in two days. It's so lackluster, so then I have all this time to do stuff, but other then the music, there really isn't anything exciting to do with it.

Yeah honestly I think it was worth it for the animations and the new careers, but I haven't gotten any of the career rewards yet.... Cause I don't send anyone through college. I like some of the new objects as well.

I HATED the absolute lack of decorating, landscaping, and building supplies that were added.
It was despicable for the amount of new trees, new wallpaper/flooring, windows, etc. There was practically nothing; that is why I'm crossing my fingers for something more pleasing in Nightlife.

I agree, the game really needs more landscape stuff.
But the thing I hate most about uni is well the university, it gets old fast. But I don't know what my Sims would do without guitars and drums :P

hmm, I expect to get University by the end of the week because I want to get it out of the way before Nightlife. The idea never appealed to me and nothing I've heard about it has changed this (well, maybe the cow plant) The only reason I'm getting it is because all my favourite hackers and modders are making EP stuff now.

JM Pescado has a lot of wonderful hacks to make things less tedious. He has a clock that allows you to fast forward University.
It will not give you good grades (he doesn't make cheats, he only makes improvements) You must earn your grades and get your mark up, I think there's a paper you need to write, and then poof. You're done.

Well, i never like how if a sim has a girl or boyfriend and then when they go to collage they lose them! I always have to go back to the sim and make them go to collage too! It is SO annoying!

Since I just installed it a couple days ago, it took a while, but I just discovered what I least like about University.

Even though I purchase clothes as soon as a baby is born (every category for every lifestage), my triplets just transitioned into outfits that I'd hoped to never have to see in the game.

Even though I replanned all categories for the 3 of them (pia) I now have these god-awful outfits stuck in my closets... AAarrgh!!!

Image

Though I am sure there are people who may not entirely hate these (boys) outfits as much as I do, pointy red cowboy boots? This ghastly black sleeveless rag? For my wonderful (first ever) Finance Sim and his (not entirely irritating for a Pop) wife's kids? Noooo... (not pictured - teen Kristopher's twin sister Kali)

ooh, and another thing.. Lifetime wants. How many did Maxis give us? 2 per Aspiration? Gah, I'm bored with them already. I've visited 29 Sims so far (since Uni) and they all have:

Celebrity Chef - (at least 2 in every home, including the CAS YA's I've played)
Mad Scientist - (8 teens! and one adult - 3 days from elder at the top of Business)
Marry 6 children - (an elder with 3 adult kids and about 8 days left)
20 BestFriends/20 Lovers at Once - (yeah, well, I can do this one, they're almost there anyway)

Not sure what I was expecting, but certainly not for everyone to have the same of 5 LTW.
